Ive searched and searched and cant for the life of me get this printer working.

Its a Dell 1700 printer connected to a networked XP machine, and all the PCs in my house can seeuse it just fine, but for some reason on my MBP I cant at all.

Could someone please help me I need to get this printer working for school ASAP.

As the 1700 is actually made by Lexmark you need to install their recent OS X drivers which have been updated for SL.

Not sure which it corresponds to exactly (e330, e320, e332 ) but I was able to get the printer working with the e330 driver.

I googled that error and found tons of other people with the same problem, but none of their fixes worked for me.
